Nice pomade, quick delivery

Their water based is pretty good for washing out, much easier than their oil based, obviously. A quick shampoo and it's gone.

Yeah, it comes out clean with just water, mostly. If you use a lot, maybe a light shampoo, but it's not like the old school stuff.

The Heavy Hold is no joke, man. I have a pretty dense head of hair and it keeps it locked all day. You might need a bit more product than usual, but it works.

Yeah, if any pomade can handle thick hair, it's Grim Grease's Heavy Hold. Just make sure your hair isn't super wet when you apply it for max hold.

Grim Grease Heavy is a bit stiffer and maybe a tad more waxy than Lockhart's Heavy Hold for me. Scents are usually stronger too. Both good, just different feels.

Lockhart's tends to be a bit creamier, I think. Grim Grease feels a bit more robust in the hand and in the hair. If you want maximum grip, GG might edge it out.

I returned an unopened product once because the scent wasn't what I expected. It was pretty straightforward, just email them. You gotta pay for return shipping though, I think.
